April 3, 2007, Manila, Philippines — NEC Philippines together with local Japanese Partner, NPAX Cebu Corporation, hosted an exclusive seminar for Japanese-owned Companies (JOCs) last April 3 at the Vivere Suites in Alabang.

The event was exclusive for Japanese executives only as the presentations were all done in Nihonggo by Japanese colleagues of NEC Philippines and NPAX. Kazuki Yasui of the Acting RFID Division of NEC Corporation presented RFID and briefly explained the Security Solutions of NEC. Naoya Higashi, President of CPAX Corporation of Japan presented how IT departments can comply with JSOX while its local counterpart had a product presentation on the Total System Analyzer (TSA) done by NPAX Cebu Corporation Managing Director Takahiro Toda.

Attendees include top level management such as CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs. It was also an opportunity for NEC Philippines EVP Leonardo Santos to introduce the local team to the JOCs.
